HGV Class 1 Tramper, Days & Nights, Skelmersdale
About this role
Class 1 (C+E) tramping work with a temperature-controlled and ambient distribution operation at Skelmersdale (WN8), covering the UK & Ireland on fridge and ambient trailers. Day and night tramping with varied start times from 02:00 up to 23:00; flexibility required within legal driving and rest limits. Average shift 11-12 hours. Online initial driver assessment followed by an on-site driving assessment.
Days £16.50 per hour / £18.49 rolled-up holiday rate; nights £17.50 / £19.61; Saturdays £18.00 / £20.17; Sundays £19.00 / £21.29; night-out allowance £26.20. Temp-to-perm opportunity, part-time available, weekly pay, pension scheme, refer-a-friend bonus.

What you'll need
- ✓ Full UK Category C+E licence held for minimum 12 months
- ✓ Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- ✓ No more than 6 minor points on licence
- ✓ Knowledge of driver hours, regulations and Working Time Directive
- ✓ Strong geographical knowledge
- ✓ Comfortable with regular nights out (tramping)
- ✓ Right to Work in the UK
